You know what I don’t quite fully understand? When parents don’t accept their kids no matter what. Like as in, sexuality, gender, defects, and etc. Why even bother having children if you are not mentally prepared to deal with the possibilities the future holds. No child should ever feel neglected or hide who they truly are, no parent should turn their back on them.

Smoking ban in Milledgeville, GA

I can’t help myself but to rant about the recent smoking bans in downtown Milledgeville. Up until a couple weeks ago from 10:00pm or 10:30pm till 2:00am people could smoke cigarettes in the bars, after the kitchen closed. The whole issue came up from a customer who was unhappy with the cigarette smell at the brick, so what’s the solution… to ban smoking? No, in a free market, he would go somewhere else and the businesses would have the ability to decide if they wanted people smoking in their buildings. There is no reason to impose non-smoking laws through force on businesses which pay taxes, offer their services to the community, and serve their customers needs in a peaceful setting. A free market would solve the dilemma because non-smokers would go to a non-smoking restaurants, which makes for competition, and everyone wins when both places try to provide the best services.
